Josh Koziebrocki is the principal lawyer and founder of Koziebrocki Law. Josh is an experienced litigation lawyer and advocate who has appeared extensively before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.  His practice focuses on defending professionals in regulatory and disciplinary proceedings.  He works with professionals in difficult and challenging situations involving their license to practice. Josh has represented countless professionals before licensing bodies from the complaint process and investigations through to discipline hearings. He has appeared as counsel at numerous regulatory hearings and at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Josh routinely represents corporations who employ and work with regulated professionals. He has also acted as independent legal counsel to discipline committees and as amicus curiae in discipline proceedings at regulated Colleges. Josh has a unique appreciation of how professionals are regulated in Canada and frequently lectures on legal topics relevant to professionals.  Josh is a tireless advocate for the rights of professionals, understanding that every complaint, investigation or discipline matter has a direct and potentially lasting impact on his clients.

Prior to starting Koziebrocki Law, Josh was a partner at a leading Bay Street litigation firm. Josh is also a former Assistant Crown Attorney and has prosecuted all types of criminal cases. Josh is committed to community service. He has worked extensively with the Jays Care Foundation, serving as the founding chair of its Young Professionals Committee. He has also been involved in University governance, having served on the Governing Council and Business Affairs Board of the University of Toronto.

Josh is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Health law. Josh has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in Administrative and Public Law, Professional Malpractice Law and Health Care Law. Zoë Hountalas

Zoë Hountalas

Zoë defends regulated professionals facing complaints, investigations and disciplinary matters. She represents a broad range of regulated professions and provides advice on regulatory compliance. Zoë assists with College licencing and registration matters and regularly assists professionals with delisting issues with insurers. She represents health professionals before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board as well as various other levels of courts and tribunals. Zoe also has experience in the areas of employment law, human rights and privacy law.

Zoë’s practice includes professional regulation, health law and general litigation.  Prior to joining Koziebrocki Law, Zoë worked at a leading Bay Street firm. Her community outreach projects include her time as a student caseworker at Queen’s Prison Law Clinic. She is a graduate of Queen’s University Law School and the University of Toronto. Zoë has a diploma in French Immersion Studies and is proficient in French.

Jakub Schnitzler

Jakub Schnitzler

Jakub assists professionals respond to complaints and investigations. He represents professionals before various regulatory Colleges and Courts in Ontario. Jakub also advises professionals on how to comply with their regulatory obligations.

Prior to joining Koziebrocki Law, Jakub articled at a criminal defence chambers in downtown Toronto. His community outreach projects include his time as a student advocate for Fair Change Community Legal Clinic and his volunteer work with Lawyers Feed The Hungry. He is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and York University.

Nicole Fielding

Nicole Fielding

Nicole defends professionals at regulated Colleges and tribunals. She has a broad experience in health law and litigation. She assists a broad range of regulated professionals in responding to complaints, investigations, and disciplinary matters. She also works with clients on licencing and registration matters. Nicole has represented individuals at various levels of court and tribunals and advises them regularly on compliance matters. Nicole also has experience in employment law.

Prior to joining Koziebrocki Law, Nicole worked at a prominent litigation boutique in Toronto where she represented clients on a variety of civil matters. While in law school, Nicole was an active member of the legal community, serving as a volunteer caseworker and litigator at Windsor’s Community Legal Aid clinic. In 2018, she was awarded the “Best Examination-in-Chief” award by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association during its yearly provincial Moot Cup competition. Nicole is a graduate of Windsor Law School and the University of Toronto.

Anne Marshall | Lawyer

Anne Marshall

Anne defends regulated professionals facing complaints, investigations, registration and disciplinary matters. Prior to joining Koziebrocki Law, Anne worked for a provincial regulator as both a prosecutor and in-house counsel.  She has appeared before the Divisional Court, Licence Appeal Tribunal and Small Claims Court.   Anne also has experience in employment law, civil litigation and constitutional law.

Anne is a graduate of the University of Toronto Law School, where she competed in the Competition Law Moot and won both best oralist and best team awards. Anne also worked with U of T’s legal clinic in its employment law division.

Prior to law school, Anne worked for a professional association that represented medical residents and advocated for optimal training, education and working conditions during their residency programs. She is actively involved in the community, serving as a Board Member for Women’s Habitat of Etobicoke and as a Mentor with the Yonge Street Mission.

Ada Chidichimo Jeffrey

Ada defends regulated professionals facing complaints, investigations, registration and disciplinary matters. Prior to joining Koziebrocki Law, Ada worked at a leading Bay Street firm, prosecuting and advising regulatory colleges. Ada also has experience in the areas of employment law, civil litigation and privacy law. She completed her articles at Canada’s largest full-service national law firm.

Ada is a graduate of University of Toronto Law School and completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University. In law school, Ada won the Gale Cup moot competition and went on to represent Canada and win the Commonwealth Legal Education Association Moot held in Glasgow, Scotland. Ada was actively involved in the criminal division at U of T’s legal clinic – Downtown Legal Services.

Prior to law school, Ada helped to develop support group networks for men and their families facing a diagnosis of prostate cancer. Ada is proficient in Spanish and comfortable in French.
